1890 Riley Tac Pin
$5.00
This pin honors Riley, who won the slowest recorded Kentucky Derby by 1890 at 2:45. The muddy track at Churchill Downs was no problem for Riley and his jockey, Isaac Burns Murphy, who had ridden Fonso to success in 1880 through the dust. Riley was bred by C. H. Durkee, and owned and trained by Edward Corrigan.
A Kentucky Derby Museum Exclusive.
Pin measures 0.75 X 1”.
